Disturbing Allegations in Srishti Kandari Death Probe
The emotional video, a mere 56 seconds, sent by Srishti to her mother on the morning of July 29, painted a harrowing picture. In it, a tearful Srishti apologized, expressing an unbearable burden of six months of abuse. She tragically revealed that her husband’s family relentlessly branded her “manhoos” (inauspicious). Her mother’s frantic attempts to reach Srishti and her in-laws proved futile, leading to an agonizing delay before the family was informed of her demise at a Dehradun hospital, already declared dead. This sequence of events, particularly the lack of timely communication, has deeply troubled her relatives.
Ritanshu Kandari, Srishti’s brother, expressed profound skepticism, highlighting a crucial detail: Srishti had spoken to their mother the night before, planning her return home the very next morning. He painted a portrait of Srishti as a woman of immense courage, fearlessly traversing leopard-prone forest roads alone on her Bullet motorcycle to reach her government school in Tehri. “She was a very strong girl.
